Distillerie de Port-au-Prince S.A.
In 2017, the Barbancourt family opened one of the most modern rum distilleries in the Caribbean. In cooperation with Velier S.P.A. and Vittorio Capovilla from Italy, they distil a rum of a one of its kind and outstanding quality. The fresh sugar cane is pressed directly on site and afterwards fermented immediately. The distillation takes place in a MÜLLER AROMA 1.500 L. Currently, only the fruity fresh white rum is available, later on there will also be a brown rum. The international clientele, however, will have to be patient for a little longer.
